what should i do? see a doctor or do an x-ray?last month I've done this art project (carving). I also play the guitar and piano very often. Then, i noticed that there's a bump in my wrist. first it was small then it became bigger (marble size). I don't know if it's a gout or a dislocated bone but it's painful. my parents say it's arthritis. i haven't seen a doctor yet. should i see a doctor first or do an x-ray? cause if i see a doctor first, maybe he'll recommend me to have an x-ray, but if i do an x-ray first, maybe it's arthritis... please help me. i'm confused on what to do and i wanted to save money cause it's from my pocket... if i see a doctor, what kind of doctor should i go to?
thanks for your answers.. :)

Start with your family Dr.
In most case MRI is batter and in some Both are needed to get to the root cause.
In the mean time get wrist support.
Take anti swelling and pain killer and apply pain killer ointment. Hot and cold compressions can do wonders too.
PS
Tennis wrist or carpal tunnel case but could be nothing or any thing else.

i DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW YOU CAN DO AN XRAY WITHOUT SEEING YOUR DR FIRST....
