Which food is not good for gout?

Which food is not good for gout?I over ate a bit of turkey, ham, yam and cranberries. Am wondering what made my gout flare up this last couple days. Anyone with gout experience a flare up eating any of the food mention?
Arcoxia has to many side affects, I would rather have the pain. Am interested in preventing flare ups by eating the right food. Thanks anyways.

I'm guessing it was one of the meats.
Below is a list of foods to avoid. BTW, have you heard that black cherries are good for gout? See second link below.

Gravy and organ meats are some things that can trigger a gout attack. But what might be worse is drinking hardly any water, drinking lots of alcohol, eating foods with high fructose corn syrup, drinking juices that are not 100% fruit juice.

It's important that you do two things: help your body get rid of uric acid, and help your body not produce so much uric acid. The things above will help, along with getting a script for allopurinol, and taking celery seed pills. Eat lots of sour dairy too (cottage cheese, sour cream, plain yogurt in a smoothie mixed with fruit and juice)

Best of luck to you!
