what happen with my arm?

what happen with my arm?I believe it is gout but it has not gone away. my lower right arm inflame so badly, it appear red/bluish and pain. I did not get bitten. It suddenly appear. It gave me pain or very pain, and my right hand has swollen. I took lots of drinks with baking soda and also ibuprofine (400 mg) every 3-4 hours but it has been 3 weeks and still not much change. I plan to go to the doctor again or emergency hospital. can gout happen on the arm? I had this in 2002 but now it is more painful. I also got fever as a result of this though not always. Please suggest me if you know this is gout what to do.

Yes, gout can occur in the arm. I heard of someone that did have it in their arm thru a health related program that aired on tv.
