My MD said I have Gout, I think he is wrong. Urik acid normal. My problem started after physical therapy .?Sack on bottom of heel treated with cordzone shots. Partial releaf. Then had problem with the bottom of foot, can't recall name, Started with a P. That went away after PT, but I truly believe that the problem I have now was caused by the PT. Top of foot swells up,sore to the touch, some times ball of foot feels puffy. No redness. Big toe joint sore. This did not start till after PT. Xrays show nothing , Urik acid blood test normal. HELP.
I have been to 3 doctors. 2 are Specilists.

Go to another Doctor, and get a second opinion.

In that case, if you have been to three doctors, and they feel you have gout, chances are that you have gout.

That is why they have M.D. behind their names.

Chances are you have Gout, however you really need to see a Podiatrist. They will examine your feet, make sure you do not have serious misalignment problems, if you do they can correct them with insoles. Gout is Gout, but serious problems with the feet need to be shown to a Podiatrist, who will probably be able to really help you! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and prolapsed disc, after all the pain found out I have a six degree deviation or inward turn on both feet. This is probably what 'caused' the disc problem. I now have special insoles to correct the feet deviation. I agree a bit late, but better late than never, beyond 6 degrees you are no longer talking orthotics but special shoes!
