im starting high school tuseday and i have somee questions?ok so i know the typicle answer for this but it is a bull s#$ @t answer so i ned to konw th ediffrnce between emo and goth because i hand gout with alot of kids that look the part but i think they ar goth so what is emo and what is goth then will i get picked on for hanging out with theem in high school if i dont look like them ...... im trying to grow my hair back out and i am already planing on dying it black soon but im not wearing makup or finger nail paint so tell me what emo is and goth and i can figure out the rest om my own

My understanding was that emo kids were dressing in all black to let everyone know that they are depressed and goth kids were following the gothic style. Gothic refers to a particular style, not only of clothes but architecture also.
