how do you cure gout?My father has gout (sp?) we know about the cherry extractt and cherry juice. what will make him feel better w/o keeping his foot in the air, he HAS to work tomorrow, cause doesn't get sick days.

Gout can last days weeks if not properly treated. If he is taking any supplements, make sure they do not have any shellfish by products. This will increase acid in his body. Seek Medical help ASAP for this. There are med's and the Doc can tell him more about this. Good luck
