Here is my essay....is it okay?Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Franklin was an accomplished printer, scientist, statesman and diplomat throughout his life. He was very successful and discovered many useful tools. Childhood, education, family, career, achievements and struggles are the main points in his life.
First is his childhood. He was born Sunday, January 17, 1706, in a Puritan part of Boston. He lived in an active house which was a tiny rented house in Boston. He had many household jobs, which included getting wood together, chopping it for the family's fire, supplying water and cleaning the house. After his jobs, he liked to be outside, explore Boston, and read. Once he was older, his father chose his occupation. First, he wanted him to make tapers. Ben didn't enjoy this job, and his father thought he may enjoy printing. Ben accompanied his brother, James, in this job.
The next topic is education. Ben was educated in English and literature, by his mother possibly, at the ages of three to four. He educated himself in swimming, sailing and rowing when he was a child. He was born into a Puritan family, but never adopted the religion. He was very intelligent, more than most of his companions. When he was old enough for school, his father first sent him to Boston Latin School in 1714. The next year, his father reconsidered, and sent him to George Bronwell's School. There he learned English, literature and arithmetic.
Third is his family. Ben was always nice to his family, and had good relationships with all but one of his family members, his son William. When Ben was born, he was the 15th child to his father and 8th child to his mother; his father had remarried. His parents were Josiah and Abiah Franklin. He had 14 siblings. Later on, he married Deborah Read. He had two sons, William and Francis, and a daughter, Sarah, but he liked to call her Sally. Frankie was born on October 20, 1732, and died on November 21, 1734 at the age of two.
Then there are his careers. When he was young, he first made tapers. Then he was put into printing. He was very smart and made many discoveries. He is most known for being a writer and scientist. Later on in his life, he owned a printing press and a library.
After that, there are his achievements. Ben was very successful. He had many inventions and writings. One of his favorite writings is "Poor Richards Almanac." One of his famous inventions was the Franklin stove. He helped form the Declaration and other important documents such as the Constitution. He helped form America and its government. He founded the Postal Service.
Finally, there are his struggles. He dreamed about going to sea at the age of ten, but instead was put to work in his father's career. He also had to do other jobs his father decided for him that he did not enjoy. One was the printing press. He did like it, however, but he did not like the fighting he had with his brother. That eventually caused him to runaway to New York City. He secretly boarded a boat set to sail there. He and his son had different ideas about the war and weren't very fond of each other. At 79, Ben was diagnosed with gout. This disease made him very sick and sometimes he couldn't walk, stand, talk, or write. At 84 he finally died peacefully at his house in Philadelphia in the evening of April 17th, 1790.
Early life, schooling, relatives, jobs, accomplishments, and hardships were important roles in his life. He had a very interesting life, and discovered many theories and created many inventions. Some of which continue to have an impact on our lives today.
