Yes, I had a severe case of "The Gout" on my finger joint, of all things. It was lanced and the junk tested positive for crystals, however, the urine and blood tests showed NO uric acid problem. My doctors told me that was not so uncommon at all. So, yes . One can have gout even with a normal uric acid test. I hope you FEEL BETTER soon!

yes my husband has gout. it can be very painful. there are medications for gout talk to your doctor. it is also hereditary
