Instead of focusing on those drugs and medicines. I strongly suggest you to encourage your father to drink water more often in order to flush out the uric acid that causes the gout and the chemical residues from those synthetic drugs that he has been taking all these while.

If you can, pay attention the color and texture of his blood during his next blood test when the nurse withdraws the blood. You will notice that his blood is thick, dark, and doesn't seem to flow well. Always monitor the readings that indicate his liver and kidneys condition. This is because it is the liver that breaks down the chemical components of those drugs and then kidneys will throw them out from the body.

Instead of focusing on what pills to take to reduce the pain when the gouty inflammation attacks, he should focus on how to reduce the frequency of gout outbreak or stop it from happen all together. And this can only happen when the uric acid level in his body is return to healthy level. This article will explain to you on how to clean up the uric acid disposal channels in your fathers body... Good luck!
