What is a good starter - details?I am cooking a roast dinner - beef and i need to know a starter that would be good.
It has too be okay for gout though due to my grandad having it.
Pudding's trifle so i just need to know about a starter.

Also im allergic to nuts but thats it, so everything else will be good.

2] clear soup or gazpcho
3] stuffed mushrooms
4] fruit skewers
5] shrimp cocktail [ no scallops or mussels ]
