I have already search some information about it but I don't fully understand.
I know there are at least three different inherited defects that lead to severe hyperuricemia and gout: glucose-6-phosphatase deficiency; hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyltransferasedeficiency; and elevated 5'-phosphoribosyl-1'-pyrophosphate synthetase activity.
So, what cause gout, "complete" deficiency of hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyltransferase or "partial" deficiency of hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyltransferase??
Could someone tell me? Thank you!
I know eating too much food containing purine would make uric acid deposit in joints make gout but what I ask is in biochemistry angle what cause gout, especially in the aspect about complete or partial HGPTRTase?

the basics of what causes gout - too much uric acid or too little uric acid excretion
certain things can lead to an exacerbation of gout, such as too much alcohol intake, dehydration, diet (eg, offal)
