Get some cherries, or pomegranite juice mixed with Cherry juice, it will help. My husband suffers from gout in his foot on occasion, and he doesn't take medication, he just drinks cherry juice. Be sure to cut back on your seafood, and your red meat. These are the things that cause the gout to occur.

Well, I dont know what indomethacin is, but I have taken
Lyrica for gout and it works great!! Also, I drink black cherry and/or pomegranate juice, sometimes black cherry juice is hard to find, you can also eat black cherry when they are in season and it will help prevent a recurrence.
Have you cut back or out, red meat, rich foods like liver or patte', alcohol, seafood and chocolate? They all cause the Uric acid in your body to flare and that's what causes gout.
Its kinda strange that you have it only in your elbow, did you have a previous injury there. It usually starts in the toes and goes up......
Anyway, I know you are in pain, gout is miserable. Hope this helped you some. Good Luck!
Orignal From: Please help, I have been attack by gout on my elbow for the past 7 weeks, taking indomethacin still in pain.?
