Can anyone give a first hand account of their side effects experienced from gout medications?I know all about the stated side effects from doing my research. I only want to hear first hand accounts. Also has any one ever used baking soda to alkalize the body, and found that it works, or doesn't work

MY friends mother was on gout medications. IT destroyed her kidneys.SHE is on a dialis machine now

I've been using Allopurinol for about 9 months now. For the first three months it had no effect, but since then I have suffered no gout whatsoever. Recommended.
