My big toe hurts, how long will it?

My big toe hurts, how long will it?I was just drawing yesterday and I was sitting with my toes pressed down as a tippy toe and I stayed like that for awhile so when I got up, my toe started hurting..I woke up this morning and it was gone but came back again. How long does this last for? It makes me limp... I can't have gout because I am not an old lady I'm 20. HALP!
