Many nights recently foot keeps falling asleep at night multiple times, why? It's aweful at night.. 3 or 4 times i wake up with my foot totally dead. i have to shake it alot. Then i've also noticed that when i go to the restroom and sit in the toilet for along time, that same foot keeps falling asleep.

Could i have some kind of circulation problem? or is it tarsal tunnel syndrome? ( like the so called carpal tunnel that we get in the hands)

Recently i've been also having unexplained toe pain( not the same foot). So painful feels as if toe broken.. but only if i stand on it. i asked dentist cause i don't have a dr appointment yet and asked him if it could be gout... he said no that i should get checked for diabetes..... could all this that i have be diabetes? I'm 27 male healthy..but apparently recently my mother , 54, was told she has diabetes. so hereditary?

It is possibe to be diabetes, but not likely at your age. I would bet circulation or nerve problem(pinch or injured).

I hear you man. I get the same problem myself on the foot falling asleep when sitting for periods of time.

It's likely not diabetes. However, it's worthwhile to get your blood sugar checked if it runs in your family. It's just a simple blood test and often combined with a cholesterol test. Or you can use a home testing kit. They do require blood from your finger or forearm though. So always use a clean lancet and follow the instructions carefully.

It's possible there's a circulation issue. An ultrasound of your leg could rule out problems there though.

Make an appointment with your doctor and his or her office can make arrangements for you to get your blood checked and look into any circulation issues for you.

Go see your doctor. 3-4 times a night is not normal. There is something going on.
