I can remember my grandfather being in such pain from gout. I was in the doctors office a week ago and the guy next to me had gout and my doctor told him one of the best at home treatments is to eat one half cup of cherries every day. Gout home remedy treatment is quite effective.
Apples are considered valuable in the treatment of gout. Consume an apple after every meal.
Extract the juice of half lemon and pour it in 1 glass of water. Drink it three times in a day.
The juice of French beans has proved beneficial in treating gout. Drink half cup of this juice everyday for about a month.
Bananas serve as an excellent remedy for curing gout. Consume a diet of bananas for three to four days.

I have seen a few patients who had gout, but I don't know a lot about how to help it. I just looked on line where there is a lot of information about gout. Have you checked it out? Knowing your situation; you would spot something that may help you easier than a stranger.
Do you think if you got another medication that would help with the pain at times when your present medication wouldn't work. You need to find something that is compatible with your present medication. The pharmacists can tell you that with his computer. You can even look up on line; your medicine and find out which medication would be compatible with it. Sometimes the patient can find out more than the doctor because the doctor doesn't have the time to research it,
Do you concentrate on foods to avoid? Limit your intake of foods that stimulate the production of uric acid: fatty fish, anchovies, shellfish, meat and meat stock, eggs and caffeine (coffee, tea, cola, chocolate).
Limit you intake of these foods to no more than one serving a day: spinach, whole-grain cereal , breads, yeast, asparagus, dry beans, cauliflower, lentils, mushrooms, oatmeal, dry peas.
There are so many drugs out there that have so many awful side-effects that are worse than what you have wrong.

On line, I saw a drug mentioned called Uricinex. It says it gets the gout out It says that there are lots of good things that it will help, but it doesn't say anything about the side effects.
Investigate for yourself and try to find out about medications that may help you and run them by your doctor. Maybe, with trial and error you will find something that will give you some big relief.

Some medicines can be rotated for more effect. If you have two good medications that help a lot. Ask a pharmacists if they can be rotated : like, take one every other 4 hours and take the other one, every other 4 hours. Some doctors will say you can take a prescription drug like every 8 hours and in between takey Tylenol or something every 8 hours, but not the same 8 hours. Do you know what I'm saying?

Tylenol at 8am prescription at 12 noon, Tylenol at 4 pm prescripion at 8 pm. Tylenol at 12 midnight. Do you see what I mean? Sometimes by doing this you get more relief without constantly over-loading on one powerful medicine.
Please excuse errors. Maybe you can help others by helping yourself. What you find out can maybe help the doctor help others. It takes a lot of dedication and time. I hope you can find relief. I did also find to avoid a lot of salt (sodium).
Good luck to you. I hope something here will help you.
There may one thing that can really trigger the whole thing.
God bless.
