specifically does it help with pain management, not asking whether its a cure!
does foam help with pain management, my father has been taking zyloric and colchicin and those have helped, but may be the foam will help with the early morning pains..he right now sleeps on a hard bed.

Nope! I have one and it does nothing except make the bed harder to make up.

No, Gout is an internal condition usually caused by eating food that is high in salt or fat. Memory foam may ease the pain so will only provide you with limited pain reduction while you sleep, it will not make the pain or the gout go away permanently. See a Medical Doctor for what you need to do for Gout!
Good Luck

The foam is very soft, so it may not further pain the arthritis or gout patient like a firm mattress surface might. However, we all move as we sleep, so I suspect there will still be pain enough to wake the person from sleep with fresh contact.
I don't know much about arthritis, but most gout responds very well to dietary change and treatment. If you haven't investigated that, do it before investing in an expensive mattress. WebMD.com is a good starting point.
