I've never heard of that treatment before. The main thing is to take out of your diet what ever causes it. Seafood and poultry are big culprits. Also, you can drink lots of cherry juice. That helps flush it out of the body and helps to clear up gout.I don't know if it works on gout but my friend got scratch by a kangaroo (like a smaller version of one I forget what they are called) and the place that owned the kang gave her emu oil she had a deep scratch right down her chin and the oil worked it healed with no scar she is in her forties and scaring was almost for sure, but you can't even tell it ever happened.
