What? I can't find anything about that - never heard of it.
Maybe the idea is damp causes rheumatism. I think gout is different, different cause.

My grannies used to say it will make me "pasma".

My grandpa couldn't straighten his legs in his later years and my grandma says it because he loves to walk a lot and when he comes home after his long walks he'd directly wash his feet.

In any case, I don't think it will do us harm to cool down and wait a few minutes before hitting the shower.

gout i believe is the presence of too much uric acid in the blood, while toxic wastes deposited in the body causes rheumatism,..so these two, one usually gets from a bad diet. I kept hearing about pasma,..i dont really know if it's true..
?
One possible consequence would be a state of cleanliness, but that would depend on whether or not soap was used to a sufficient degree by the washer.

I've heard that all the time from my old folks back home but I think it has no scientific basis. I have observed/seen athletes and sportspeople taking a shower after a rigorous exercise and after the games yet they remained very healthy, even enjoying long life.
