hi there....im 25 years old i also have arthritis had it since i was 10 months old..........my joints often lock up.......could just be the arthritis

This is typical of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). It is typically suggested to use a NSAID to decrease the joint swelling. If that is already in your medical treatment regimen, studies also suggest that glucosamine and condroitin sulfate supplements help in relieving RA symptoms.

At one time, I had a patient who had fingers lock up only when he woke up from bed (when he had his hands closed for a long period of time). He ended up using GA/CS supplements, as well as doing range of motion exercises for his hands. Although, it did not remove the pain completely it has decreased the recurrence of the locking.

Here is a link to some of these range of motion exercises. I would recommend following the instruction for the fingers, hands, as well as wrist. It will loosen all the muscles/tendons and strengthen them as well over time.

Also, please consult your family physician before adding supplements/medications to your regiment to ensure no negative interactions. Best of luck!

Dehydration - In this mode we tend to store the toxins outside our blood system in our body. Once the stores of toxins exceed the reasonable limits we die.
Hydration - In this mode we remove the toxins from our blood system out of our body.
Overhydration - In this mode we store more water in our body to take care of the stores of toxins in our body - It results in water retention.

The undermentioned routine aims at detoxification.

First we aim to clear the blood of all toxins beyond a reasonable limits. 9 Glasses of water for a week reasonably clear the blood of all toxins.

In the second phase we try to get, the stores of the toxins stored in the body, in our blood system. Reducing water intake helps in that. But if we drink water after meals we will be storing more toxins in our body. i.e. the movement of toxins will be from blood to body. But if we drink water before meals the movement of toxins wll be from blood to out of our body.

In the third mode we maintain the hydration at ideal levels.

Do not sleep for at least 3 hours after a meal. This is most important. This is to ensure that we do not cause movement of toxins from our blood to our body. This also helps in better repair of our body during sleep.

1. First 7 days

Drink 3 glasses of water before each meal. So total should be 9 glasses a day. Stop all other liquids.

For example if you take lunch at 2.00 pm, take 1 glass each at 12.30, 1.00 and 1.30 pm. Some deviations from suggested times are ok.

Do not drink water after 7 PM.

2. Next 2 days

Reduce water intake to 6 glasses day. 2 Glasses before each meal.

3. Next 2 days

Reduce water intake to 3 glasses day. 1 Glasses before each meal.

4. Next 2 days

Drink 1 glass of water in the entire day.

5. Next

Repeat 3 and 4 again and again.

After 1 month repeat 2,3,4 and 5.
