My dad is getting sick, will he be alright?

My dad is getting sick, will he be alright?He's 47 years old and has gotten a lot of health problems lately... High blood pressure, gout, untreated diabetes, staff infection was never treated, and he drinks heavily on a night basis. What's going to happen if he doesn't get medical attention as he gets older?

Your dad needs to see a doctor immediatley. He cannot keep drinking like he does if he has high blood presure. Also that untreated diabetes puts him at greater risk of dying at an early age. you need to make him realize that he is getting older and needs to start taking care of his health. GOOD LUCK.

Well my father is 53 years old he had diabetes and didn't tell no one for 2 years he gotten really sick and went to the doctor they said he had to go through open heart surgery. He is ok now but on a lot of medicine my dad had to stop drinking and smoking. If he does not get treatment he can have a heart attack and die if you care about him then take him to the doctor before it is too late not everyone gets lucky. If he does not want to go to the doctor tell him that in a couple years or even tomorrow something really bad can happen and you wont see him no more sorry to be so blunt but that's the best way i can describe it. I hope this helps...

im in your same position except, my dad only has high blood pressure, & he drinks every night. my best suggestion for you is to tell him to go see a doctor.If you cae about his health & you want the best for him, then push him to wear he is getting help. Hope he listen's & best of luck to you!
