im not crazy...chronic fatigue, need advice please.?who do i prove to my doctor that my pain is REAL? i do have other so called real condistions, like high blood presure,high trigliides,gout. thyroid nodules, a bit o depresion! anxiaty lower back pain, throat tightness, weekness and if i move around,then shotness of breath... i know i sound like a train wreck,in many ways i am,,but i know i have CFS. because i had ebstine barr virus about a year ago,and ive been feeling crappy ever since! my doctor has the bloods on paper to proove it, so why he trats me like i need a psych??????
with btw/ ive made an appt to see one,but its against my will.im doing it because he said he'd have to cut my meds untill i agree to see one... what do you guys think? feel free to ask any questions, i want all this behind me and i want my life back! signed, in pain. i realy realy realy need lots of replys to help me figure this out.
i agree i do sound like a hypchondriac...its what the doctor realy thinks..but im not sure how to explain all this to him. do i keep things that are hurting me to myself,for the sake of not to sound panic? does this mean to go see him and put an act on like im ok? lets just say for a moment that im a hypchondriac.
and i have all this crap going on.. does that mean its called it's all in my head syndrome?
right now, i cant switch doctors because im haveing a thyroid removel soon...no i do not have thyroid hyper or hypo..but tumors that look abnormal and are bloking my breathing.
so i may chage doctors after....u know ill bet this is his way of firing me as a patient. treat me like crap and hopfully ill go to see somone eles and let them deal with me... doctors can be devious like that.

Why don't you change your doctor? You may just need a new doctor with a fresh point of view. Good Luck.

I'd agree to try changing your doctor, but I'd definitely cut back on the panic level, it starts raising huge red flags.

Because you are sounding an awful lot like a hypochondriac.

take a look around this website....this guy is a Dr who suffered with CFS all through medical school and dedicated his career to the treatment of it and fibromyalgia....you may find some good information there..it even has information for Drs
