i need some advice or something idk.. i guess i'm lost.. every now and then i'll start doin the right thing but then stress always comes around and gets the best of me and i'll once again be side tracked.. some advice would be much appreciated (please no "god" stuff... i've already tried that)
thanks guys... i'm just going to try and look on the bright side as much as possible.. one step at a time.. i guess my weakness is being impatient with things not looking up as fast as i'd like.. i've got to learn to slow down and enjoy things.. but sometimes i'm just lazy and lose my drive to strive

Stress isn't a physical thing. You can let go of stress. Just pull off the lid and let the hot steam release.

Your first priority should be your health. You probably need a change of diet (more fruits, vegetables, whole grains) and a lot of exercise. Without your health, especially with gout, you are going to suffer more and more because when your body feels like crap, you feel like crap. Doesn't mean you have to become a triathlete, it just means you need to find something to move your body and not stagnate into a blob. Also, even though you are very down on yourself right now, you need something to look up to for achieving. This means thinking about what would be a good, happy life for you. Maybe not perfect, but better where you are at. Always look for little, positive good changes you can make for yourself. Even if it is an opportunity to just get away and take a walk in nature for an hour or something. When you have goals, then you can start working towards them. This is the point. Don't expect anything to come right away, but what you can have right away is a determination to work for yourself to make things better, even if it comes slowly. I don't know what it is you want, you have to think of it for yourself. Maybe an education, a job, a girlfriend, a dog, a house, a vacation. Whatever. The point is to have it in your mind and be working towards it, because even when you are feeling down, there will always be a small good feeling when you know you are working for what you want.

Just keep knowing that times do get better. And perhaps get into some kind of art to help with the stress and all these feelings, i was sick for a long time, and that's what i did, i thought as you did sometimes, but i didn't let it overtake me. I kept going the best i could, and then i found a way to manage what was making me sick, and it's a million times better.
Go to some doctors, see what they can do for you. Best of luck, i'm sure it will get much better ^_^
