How does the herb nettle help in preventing gout?I read online that people take this herb or helping with gout, but I'm just curious in how it works.

Ah, at the website below, they mention nettle, and celery seed, along with serveral other herbal suggestions. But the below website describes a bit about each of these, including nettle.

Allopurinol costs me 65 cents for 30 tablets, that's one month's supply. I've researched it, and I can't find anything that says it's bad for you. But I tell you what, some of these natural things look pretty good.

I also take Gout Care pills from goutcure.com. It doesn't cure gout, but I think taking these things helps.
