do u have any suggestions to what i may be suffering with?for over 2 years i have had joint problems on my right side of my body. my joints swell up and lock in one position. i am not able to straighten joint for 3~4 days its very painful it even has me in tears. when my knee joint swells and gets painful im not able to put any weight on it or walk if i hold my leg off the floore the joint throbs it feels like my heart is beating on my knee. i have beeen to A+E on many occations because the pain has gotten so bad its unbarable. i have been tested for arthurits and gout bot result are clear. i have had my elbow xrayed when that was swollen and painfull and that to was normal. the hospital said i am not double jointed but seem to think my tendons are. its interfereing with my life so much now i cant even dress myself some times because my joints are that painful

NOT FOR SURE HAVE YOU HAD YOUR BACK UTLRA SOUNDED? MY BACK HAS 2 BAD DISC AND I SWELL IN SPOTS , I HAVE PAIN ALOT . I HAD BACK SURGERY 10 YR AGO AND I STILL SUFFER. ULTRA SOUNDS SHOW UP BETTER THAN X RAYS.

Hello... "jane doe" im crystal and i work in a hospital... your symptoms sound alittle familiar to some of are patients... now you said they runned test and they came out clear... now you really need to consult a physician.. (orthopedic). now im not doc. to diagnose you but i think you have rheumatoid arthitis. what it is.. is simple it an infalmmation of the joints in various parts of the body.. at times it can be felt in more places at ones.. causeing some people. pain and others.. the lack of activness.. most people that suffer from rheumatoid.... can have such a disease goin years with out ever feelin symptoms..rheumatoids cames and goes... and medacation can be to control such a disease but that med can only be offered by a physician...now... if its not rheumatoid.. it can also fall in various of other types of arthirtis..... or other causes of joint pain and swelling... for example. progressive systemic sclerosis, ankylosing spondylitis, synovioma, and osteochondromatosis...... i hope this info can help you alittle... keep me posted if you wish...ps. thats the web you can look in to to explain more on these types of arthritis
