Could walking/running trigger gout?

Could walking/running trigger gout? When you have gout, would the pain be there constantly or does it come and go away randomly? I suspect that I might have gout in my left knee joint, but it would only hurt when I have walked/ran too much. As soon as I sat down and take it easy, the pain goes away completely in a day or two, and would not return unless I started running/jogging again. I have never ever injured this knee before, but around the time when the pain started, I HAD been drinking 2 to 3 glasses of red wine every single day for two months. how likely would this be gout?

I am so sorry to hear about your troubles.
Believe it or not alot of that can be from your bowels being clogged up!

Did you know that you have as many nerve receptors in your gut, or more, than you have in your brain?

A simple way to tell if this is your problem, is to drink some milk of magnesia, and let it all OUT. LOL

If you take it, according to dosing on the back- until you feel "lighter" :-), and that doesn't help in a day or so, then it could be something that needs to be checked out.
