Arthritis problems and Treatment at KIMS Hospital
Arthritis is a form of joint disorder that involves inflammation of one or more joints. There are over 100 different forms of arthritis. The most common form, osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease) is a result of trauma to the joint, infection of the joint, or age. Other arthritis forms are rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and related autoimmune diseases. Septic arthritis is caused by joint infection.

The conference will help you address the challenges of providing care to individuals with chronic kidney disease within a variety of clinical settings across the continuum of kidney disease therapies. Common joint disorders seen in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), such as pseudogout, gout, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis, is the focus of this session. Assessment red flags that should alert professionals of critical joint problems will be the particular focus of this session.
