Unbearable Foot Pain :(?OH GOD!! There's is something terribly wrong with my foot. It's right below the big toe, that really hurts. There is no sign of bruising or swelling (yet) but the pain is so strong. Even with a small tap, it hurts. My parents just say oh it's ok, it'll feel better but they don't know the pain I feel! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:The_gout_james_gillray.jpg if you click on the site, the big red mark that the cartoon has is exactly where the pain is, the only thing is that it doesn't look that red at all; it looks down right normal. Please, what is causing this awful pain?....Anyone?

Do you wear flip flops a lot? If yes, then you have turf toe. Wear a different type of shoes for a while and give your toe a rest from gripping every single step to keep your shoe on. Its common in people who wear flip flops a lot.
