is there a new medicine to help disolve uric acid crystals the same way allopurinol does?I suffer from only having 1 kidney and gout arthritis

That's very painful and I feel for you man. Good luck. Yeah, Allopurinol is very hard on the kidneys and since you only have one, I understand why you would want another option. I do know of febuxostat. Its still in the testing phase, but your doctor can sign you up for the study.
Are you on dialysis? Its not the end of the world and there are small dialysis machines you can keep with you and do it yourself at home instead of going to a clinic so many hours so many days a week. Dialysis helps with uric acid buildup too, which is what causes the gout to begin with.

There is a medicine called cystone available in the Indian Market. I am not sure if you can get it where you are. but it is very effective and it relievs the pain and make the crystals smallers.
