can gout be triggered by eating to much peanut butter?

can gout be triggered by eating to much peanut butter?I ate an entire jar of peanut butter within two days....not a good idea but I had the craving....about a few days or a week or two, maybe longer (I don't remember) I developed inflammation in the joint and surrounding areas of all fingers except for the thumb on my right hand.....did peanut butter do this or triggered gout-like edema around the hands? I was thinking that perhaps the swelling was due to the cold weather and frequently washing my hands in very cold water...sometimes the tips of my fingers feel numb and they would turn purple then completely white...possibly a circulation problem

Gout is only triggered by eating seafood, the only way you could get it from peanut butter is if the Peanut butter was tainted. I would go to the doctor and have it checked out though if you think you have gout.

arthritis . Nothing to do with with peanut butter. See the doctor.

Have you had any alcohol? Gout can be seriously exacerbated by alcohol.
