Aspirin mask question?I have acne for a while now and wanted to try the aspirin mask. One problem is that it said I shouldnt take aspirin if im under prescription for gout. Im taking allopurninol daily but I dont get any gout attacks since my uric acid level is not that high. Since the aspirin mask is topical, does it have the same effects as drinking it? Also, will the aspirin mask affect my gout problem?

Topical use of aspirin does have a similar effect to drinking it. It's possible it could affect your gout problem.
When I use topical Aspercreme (which contains aspirin), the tube warns against using if taking aspirin because you can overdose & mostly cause risk of gastric bleeding.
