My feet hurt. I was wondering what the symptoms of gout are?

sharp intense Pain in big toe. Almost incapable of walking due to pain. It's not isolated to just big toe. It can happen in any joints. Knees, hips etc.

You'd know it if you had gout. Gout is a build up of uric acid crystals in the joint spaces- it usually involves the big toe but can affect any joint. The area is swollen, red, and very painful. The pain is usually so bad that if a sheet touches it - it will send the person through the roof.
